Pulled in this morning to a little town called Lock on the Eyre Peninsular South Australia. My body was screaming for a caffiene fix so we found the IGA grocer and it had a little corner espresso counter.
Best cap I have had ever... Friendly folks and a great place to be.
Travel safe you all....

I must admit to being a coffee addict. Apart from outlets where you can buy a great cuppa, I bought a ground coffee brand named Lazzio for $6.49 half kilo at Aldi's last time I was on the mainland. Also the Philippines are growing some great coffee, particularly in the southern Island of Mindanao. I'm buying a ground coffee here Davao Brand, named after the City, cost is only $8.00 a kilo our money !!! Great value. I've bought enough coffee to last me for a year.

I also roast my own green beans weekly, well packaged freshly roasted beans (that is packaged in a one way valve bag and stored in a cool dry place) begin to degrade rapidly after approx 3 weeks, by two months they are suited for little more than compost.
Buying and storing roasted beans for long periods is not a good idea.
BG, wombat makes his own really but just doesn't advertise the act. He makes it from these cube shaped things.

I bought some coffee in Adelaide for $200 a kilo, just had to try it. Absolutely magnificent.
I was told later that the coffee is first digested by a goat or such and the resultant waste products are cleaned, dried and sold for $200 a kilo.
But it did taste magic
Eat drink and be wild

You're braver man than I Gunga Din. hahahaha.. Sounds similar to Kopi Luwak, digested and excreted by civet cats in Indonesia. $200.00 should buy you about 350gm.
I'm enjoying one of these at the moment ;)
