There is nothing nicer than camping and enjoying a bowl of this. Out with the wine glasses, table cloth and great company.
Here is the recipe for a good serve for two people of
CHILLI PRAWN PASTA
Spaghetti for two serves (I use about 1/3 - 1/2 pkt) 1/4 cup olive oil 500g green prawns, peeled, deveined (chopped if large prawns) 3 cloves garlic or equiv. crushed garlic dried chilli flakes to taste salt and pepper 1/2 cup butter 1 cup dry white wine 1/4 cup parsley (optional)
Cook the spaghetti to al denti.
Heat the olive oil in a frypan and sauté the prawns, garlic, chilli flakes and seasoning until the prawns change colour. Set aside in a separate bowl.
Add the butter and wine to the pan and increase the heat to allow the liquid to reduce by half.
Drain the pasta, reserving about 2/3 cup of pasta water. Add the prawns, parsley and pasta to the pan and stir through.
Cook the pasta and sauce over high heat for 2 mins adding some of the pasta water if the mixture is dry.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy!

Sounds like my kind of food, tasty, simple to prepare and Italian inspired, good recipe.
PS I imagine a loaf of crusty Italian bread to mop up the juices would work well with it.
