My son has satellite foxtel IQ box not HD box, can I get him to get another box for say the bedroom and I can take it with me , buy a dish LNB cables and it will work in the van, and would I need single or twin LNB? reg with vast??

Russue, If your son gets a satellite service yes you can(but dont tell Foxtel)
if he applies for a second box to be installed you could then hook it up in the van.
if it is a HD or IQ box you will need a dual output LNB and cables to that box if a standard box it needs only one output and cable.
These boxes will not receive the VAST signal so no need to register with them.
I would highly recommend a digital satfinder like the SF3239 available from Satplus www.satplus.com.au
there are some cheaper versions of this finder but for after sales service and support I would get the whole kit from a reputable dealer here in Aus.
