Need a little more ground clearance for the Avan Erin MK2. About 50 to 70mm. It is std single axle slipper leaf springs with shokies. The van is quite low, causing probs with drive ways and sloppy site, difficulty fitting jockey wheel at times. Any reasonble suggestions welcome.

Our travelling companions also had a clearance problem with their Avan, a different model though. They rotated the axle 180 degrees. Made a heck of a difference.
cheers Stuart and Dianne

I just got mine under slung. She's looking peachy ;) the water tanks sat fairly low, better clearance now

Did you get it done and if so what sort of cost please

Hi, Allan!
I recently had my Avan Rhys hardtop underslung which raised it about 100mm. The result was amazing - no complaints at all except I had to buy a new 3 step ladder ($38 at Costco) to replace the old 2 step one and we now have to use a step at the door. Cost $450 at B & B caravan Services, Brendale (northern Brisbane suburb). They were recommended to me and I now recommend them to every van owner I know.
