Arrived home this morning after 8 months and 25,000 km's, and very pleased to be here. I think our wanderlust has finally had enough, we aren't planning any more trips in the foreseeable future, and will put the caravan up for sale.
There is never a time when we could say "We have seen it all", but we have seen "enough for now".
To all those still travelling, have fun and stay safe!

I remember when me and the mrs went on a Trip of a Lifetime to Darwin and Return on our Goldwing with Trailer..
the mrs found it hard due to her condition and I thought that once we'd get back that, that would be that as far as Motorcycle trips were concerned..
I put the bike up for sale on a Wednesday and a guy from up country came down and slapped 33K on my dining room table on the Monday.. (only paid 27K )
and as the bike sailed down the road with its new owner the mrs says.. -- I wouldn't mind doing another trip like that..
say what..

How,
Shut the front gate!
Good to see you both made it home safe and sound with a few extra KM under the belt and more than likey a lot of great experiences to remember. Sad that you will park the Den for the final time though. Make sure you keep us all entertained with comments and advice Gerty cos you will have heaps to share with us novices.
See you both soon.

Glad to read you are home safely Gerty. We are Central west at the moment (listening to the blackbirds singing a beautiful song) but must plan to catch up soon.
