How,
Good news story of a lost person finding her way out. She should have just found wombat, cooked over a fire, that would have kept here going for weeks

This isnt far down the road from my place south of Cairns. It appears that they had a big weekend and maybe even a bit of a yike and she then wanderd into the rainforest. It is fairly open once past the edges because not much light gets through but there is a lot of Lawyer vine which has very vicious hooks and that tore her clothes. Plenty of water flowing and she was near a creek which kept her alive.
Losing 14 kg puts Jenny Craig to shame and it might take off as a new diet center.
Cassowaries can be very dangerous and also wild pigs which are common. The crocodile she saw was probably a freshie so not much problem from it.
Very lucky lady to find her way out after getting well into the area because it is massive.
Any of you banana benders know of or have camped in this area?
This lady found her own way out after surviving for 17 days, see;
