Take a walk on the wild side... I hope you've had time to swap the thongs for something more appropriate, Jules.

I did the tour and really enjoyed it. The madam at the time originally came from Sydney, not far from where I live. It was interesting to hear how she became involved in the business and the past history.

I am going to answer these in order - ok?
Gary Kelly- had my best stilletos on Gary - the pink ones! (Nearly fell over and broke my neck!!!!!!!)
Kaid - a few more dollars for the diesel fund is always handy!!
Doug - Wild West is right - Kal is a great place - you will love it!!!
Wombat - not saying - Centrelink might get word of it and cancel the pension!!!!!
Clare - was a really good tour - they guys didn't put ALL the pictures up - won't say any more. And the madam is an interesting lady, and does a really good tour. I read a book recently called Kal, by Judy Nunn - get a copy and read it, fantastic story of the early days in Kalgoorlie.
And finally - one of the fun things to do in Kalgoorlie - not fun, but interesting is the Super Pit - something like 1.3 MILLION Toyota utes, stacked like bricks, could fit in the pit - huge!!!!!!! Heaps of other stuff as well. Free 24 hour stop in town, with toilets, in a nice park setting. Lake Douglas about 12k towards Coolgardie is a large area, with 3 day camping for free (toilets only).

Yep, had a great time on that tour. The very cultured speech of the madam was an extraordinary contrast to the stories she told. Would recommend it to anybody going to Kalgoorlie.
