I would love to be able to find out when encore (repeats!!) of a program are being telecast. The ABC & SBS show them again during the next day or few. I would like to know when..
Tonight I am recording 7 & 9, and watching SBS. The ABC has a new show called The Code. I can't record it and would like to know when they will "encore" it. I could Iview it I guess BUT surely what I ask is available somewhere with all this IT stuff....

Paul, I have an App on my phone and iPad called "Zeebox". Maybe you could get it and check the guide to see if it is being repeated.
I might take a peak at "The Code" myself.

Thanks for that Paul, had seen the preview of The Code and meant to set it to record or remind and had done neither. Promises to be a good programme, repeated 9:31 pm Friday 3rd Oct on ABC2 (22)

This depends on whether you have enough download in your internet plan but you can watch repeats of many programs from most of the TV channels on the four websites listed below.
Many of the new digital channels are also run by the major 6 TV channels so their repeats can often be found on the above websites. You may have to find what channel runs what station, for example 'Go TV' is run by Channel 9.

Paul is this what you are looking for. This is for Brisbane but you can put the name of any capital city. I think most country stations carry capital city programs.

Towards the bottom of this box it says "More episoded from this show". Click onto the PLUS sign and it will show all encores.
Alternatively, there is a search option on the top right of the TV guide where you can type in a programme name.

Hi Paul I just reading Travel bugs post and think I understand what you want. The times that a show is repeated?
In the search box I put in Landline and pressed search which brings up the day it is shown, then I went to the date box and changed that to all days and searched again. this brought up 6 showings of the program on 3 different days on 2 ABC channels.
Quite amazed really as I hadn't used this before

If you google the program it will usually give a link to the show or station. Usually ABC notes the repeat times. Mostly you can even watch the program you missed online as well.

Don't bother following up The Code. Looked promising in previews, but after 20 minutes of unintelligible rubbish, I turned it off.
No plot, smartarse dialogue, a lead actress who couldn't act. Why do the ABC screen this garbage?
In fact, you have to wonder why the ABC still exists. Waste of taxpayers' money and the programs are becoming more and more just like the cretinous drivel shown on commercial TV.

The comment I got from the cook was that it was difficult to follow if you did not concentrate. Maybe it looks like you prefer simple shows.
As for repeats, when new shows are aired the last thing on the networks mind is if and when they will repeat the show. There are factors like whether they have paid up font or how it has rated.
