Was told the other day that the Ninndigully Pub ( Between St.George and Goondiwindi ) will be celebrating 100 years of operation on the October long weekend.
The people who told us said there were 30-odd 'vans there when they stayed.
Heaven knows how big a shindig it will be for the centenary.

Any excuse for a party will do, chopit. And a pub is just the place to have it.

The Nindigully pub is 150 years of continuous license as a hotel this month. The building is older as it was used as sheares digs for Nindigully station. Nice place to enjoy a beer or 2.
Cheers

Great place, we called in there last year, had intended on staying the night to soak up the atmosphere, however our travel companions at the time didn't want too, mumbled something about not wanting to set up the camper just for one night
Next time we'll got it alone.

Sounds like a good night coming up for sure. Would be good to stay for a couple of nights, one to enjoy the fun and games, the second to recover.

One of the better camp spots if you don't mind some company.
Can get crowded at times . I imagine it will be packed for the 150th, but what a celebration it will be .

Stayed there last month. What a pub!. Lots of room, toilets and hot showers at the pub. We enjoyed our night there. They ring the bell at 4.30 and grey nomads ran from all directions to the pub for their cheap happy hour. 3 middies for $3. Almost a stampede. Centenary should be a good one.
