While doing part of the Great North Walk, central coast NSW, Patonga to Perl Beach, these pics show just how beautiful the native flowers really are plus couldn't help but put in a view from the top.
Hi Gregnshas, your photography is great, really does prove spring is here. I know Patonga area well. I lived for a while at Sunshine on the western shore of Lake Macquarie 7 km from Morissett. Beautiful area - but not as comfortable in the summer as here in Tasmania.
Enjoy the future

Great pics, Greg. Is that view over the water part of the Hawksbury? Or Pit****er?
Oh dear... the spell check is looking for naughty words again... Pitt Water.

Your photos are indeed beautiful.
Also, good to see the bees active in your photos.
Most of my fruit trees are in blossom and I have yet to see a bee here.
Might be a very poor year for fruit.

If I'm not mistaken, the bee in Greg's pic is a native. And thanks for the info, Greg. Great area, the Hawksbury, with stunning scenery.

This is often attributed to Odgen Nash
De spring is sprung, de grass is riz
I wonder where de boidies is?
De boid is on de wing, but dats absoid,
De wing is on de boid
De grass is riz de trees is green
And in de moitle tree a boid is seen.
A boid is seen and also hoid
And also felt. He dropped a toid.
Dis gets woise
And so de boid what did doit
Has got to die and dats a coit
I gets me gat intent on moider
Detoimined dis wont get no foider
Oh boy! Oh boy! Am I pertoibed
I lifts me gat de boidie choips
I gotta give de squoit de woiks
But in the moitle tree above
There sits a little toitle dove
Remember moitle?
Ive got me shooter primed but now
Two boids are sitting on de bough
And so, I cannot shoot de dove
Because de springs de time for love.
