Considering that Winnebago[US] Took the Victorian Company that was making MH Branded as Winnebago to court for using Their Internationally recognized name and won...
This was going to happen...
I don't have an issue with it as the name Winnebago is a Name is a Well known name internationally as a US made RV..

I wonder where Talvor will stand when/if the Winnebago deal proceeds as Talvor has been on our short list of motorhomes which we intend purchasing/order in October. My understanding is Apollo own/manufacture the Talvor line at Northgate or it could be the other way around? We are reconsidering the Talvor Hayman due to it being front wheel drive and may consider one of their rear wheel models. The other 2 are the Avida Esperence and Jayco Conquest ...... Conquest through their Coffs Harbour dealers - Watsons - are the main contender and the reports about their customer service have put them on the top of the list - have decided against slideouts now due to many reports and speaking with owners regarding problems with the mechanics of them. Anyway, I am sure some of you are more intune with the ins and outs of the industry than we are. I also have a question also about air con in motorhomes which I will put under a separate post in the Tech forum.
Thanks

I think that website is light on with details. It's not clear if they import or manufacture here. According to them it's both at the same time. Appalling Engrish.
I doubt the product will be viable here but will watch with interest.

This is from the link on the first post on this thread;
"Apollo will import Australian-designed and compliant caravans, and will also manufacture Winnebago branded motorhome products at its Northgate, Brisbane factory."
So it seems that Apollo will make the Winnebago Motorhome products in it's Brisbane factory, and import Australian compliant caravans with the Winnebago name from the US.
I notice on the Winnebago link for campervans, the first pic shows the vehicle as a VW but when you open that section then shows the vehicle as a Mercedes. Perhaps the choice of vehicle base is optional, although not clear on their website.?
With the motorhome, it shows them both with Fiat vehicle and Mercedes ?

My stepson works at the Apollo / Talvor manufacturing plant here in brisvages .
There is a LOT more to the story than meets the eye and what they want made public
This is sure to give Avida some competition in the RV market, it will be interesting to see how the two products compare;
