Left Calliope this morning and went into the IGA supermarket in Calliope to do some much needed shopping. Off then to Boyne River Rest Area all up some 23kms, plenty of time to set up and have a good look around,
This is an excellent free camp with flushing toilets, drinking water, dump spot and cold showers the reason I have never camped here before is it's close proximity to Calliope but this time I am in no hurry and intend to stop here for a few days. before heading to Agnes waters and 1770 to have a look around. No didn't say I camped there, I am careful what I post here now. Not so inhibited on the blog.
Your avatar has changed, have you abandoned the Avan in favour of a new van?

You are right as usual John. Funny, the sign says no camping etc but there are many set up by the looks of things. The only reason I say that is one van has a TV antenna up.
Enjoy wherever you are anyway John.
As for the AV, you are partly right, yes it is a new AV but I still have the Avan, for now. There will be a replacement soon. A post in "general" is on the horizon. The twins decided It was time for a change in attire as well.
