Long story - but I am at Coolgardie at the moment assisting a family member with a medical problem.
His mate has a Dometic RM4605/4805 3-way AES and the AES activates properly and detects whether 240v or 12v is connected - if not connected it selects the auto start for the gas, clicks and the gas fires up. However, after a short time the gas just cuts out. This does not happen all the time, sometimes only a couple of times a day and then sometimes it will run for a couple of days without cutting out. At the moment it is cutting out constantly after starting and re-starting.
It runs perfectly on 240v and 12v when connected to the vehicle.
Cheers - John

John, there could be some soot on the flame detector probe.
ensure the van is level on both axis' so the flame burns upwards correctly.
maybe even a loose connection where the probe connects to the circuit board
hope that helps

HI it could also be due to low voltage or bad connection in the feed to the 12V control terminals of the AES system.[Still required even on gas]
If the fridge is wired to MAKER'S instructions that will come from the house battery!!
As PeterD suggested, check temp probe is well within flame.& that flame is correct size .
After those it becomes a bit more difficult
It could be a fauity thermostat, try turning that to "MAX"on PeterQ

I would not expect an answer to that. John has not been on the forum since 11:23 Aug 9, 2019. Click on his profile name on the LHS his message (rockylizard) and you can check on his activity.
