When I was conducting the current draw tests re our vans appliances the aircon would not cut in to test the cooling current draw. I was told today that the aircon will not cool until the temp is above 17 degrees. Anyone know if this is correct?

Paul, that is how my Fujitsu works, you set the target temp, and if the temperature is above this temp then it will cool down to this temp.

Just found the manual online and it tells me that it is fact. I thought I might be looking for a split system Dave!!! Don't want to spend any unnecessary dollars until I get the vast tv system, inverter and a few other things sorted.
