Wanting to wish you all a wonderful morning from NSW - Mathoura
we left Victoria last night around 9pm just missing the winds in Melbourne but managed to get caught in them by the time we passed Kilgore. it was a bit of a rocky road almost making me sea stick from the 67kms winds. Have to give credit to my Daddio the master driver who drove us through it all and got us safely to our destination. We have set up camp on the Edward river as the Murray is overflowing and there was signs blocking us getting in from all the water on the road. We arrived finally by 2 am after stopping two places to check that our trailer was still going.
It's been patchy rain but we have got some sun shine too and feeling very little wind where we are.
Some photos for you all to enjoy of our first morning, still finishing setting up but we are keeping notes of what we need next time or don't need lol.
loving waking up to the sound of our beautiful kookaburras my all time favourite birds. Still haven't set up fire as yet, but nature has provided us with some firewood to use when we need it, as it is forecasted that there will be strong gusts is we decided to wait until it's passed.
currently it's 17 degrees but we aren't really feeling it as bad as we thought. First night sleep in our beautiful rig was utmost heaven I hit the sack and crashed completely until I woke up. Love my bed soooo comfy.
sill share more later going to have another cuppa and enjoy the serenity.
hope you're all safe on the roads and hugs to all.
also mum just caught her first fish yay now we have some yummy fish soup over the fire mmmmmmm

Shut the front gate! What a great looking spot you have found there Maxx and the gang. I reckon I could spend some time there and I tell you that for free.
