We have a  sunbeen bread knife guide for cutting bread ,and it makes good door steps, and i was wondering if there was a guide that aloud us to cut bread to more like sandwich thickness

Hi David.   Have you checked out the Breville one ?  Haven't tried mine yet, [another Op-shop find.] but it looks as though the slices wouldn't be "toasting" size.  Find an Electrical Appliance store, and have a look at one there.
