Good one Gerty!
They will be great ravelling companions.
We wouldn't be without our rescue girl.
Make sure you post some pics when you get them!
Cheers

We got our little bugger from Animal Rescue in Newcastle , he was one of 400 in a puppy farm in a 2ft square cage 3 tiers high , never had much to do with males or they terrorised him and consequently he was dead scared of males and still is after 3 years , If you picked him up he would wee and poo himself uncontrollably he was that scared , he was even scared to walk on grass , with a lot of lovin he is getting better.
Poor little fellow, he looks a sweetie. Hope he's getting some confidence, its been a long time, and a big challenge for you.
Ours are gorgeous, we are on a bit of a learning curve, and so are they, but they weren't abused, it was just that the owners were too busy, had no time for them.

Don't they look comfortable , I love Mason to death but its so frustrating , sitting in the arm chair he basically ignores me unless I tempt him with a treat , if I get on the floor , no problem , he will be all over me and the same when I go outside , he will come and sit along side . He is always on a leash when travelling because he wont come back until he is ready to. He is about 5 now so too old for obedience training.

Yup!! Happy Whippet-owners here
Our only serious problem is that Pickle (on the right) goes crazy when he sees a kangaroo, and there are lots around here. He's even shrugged off a harness, also managed to get a nose halter-thingy off. If he catches one he wouldn't win. Smiley couldn't care less about the roos.
