Two requests. If anyone out there has a State Wide Elite van and they have the original van user manual could I please get a copy. This is our first van, the company does not exist anymore and Id like to know a little about the wiring and water heater side of things.
Secondly please don't laugh as I am a bit embarrassed about this one.
We have a built in toilet and shower. The toilet is a cassette type with a trap door that you can open and close and a flush.
Do you use the toilet with the trapdoor open and then when finished flush it and open the trap door OR Do you open the trapdoor first, use it then just flush any remains away?
Yes we are new to this.

Sorry, having got a manual.
Re toilet. This is our process. With trap door shut, lay 4 little squares of toilet paper around the hole (minimises mess). Sit. Open flap. Do job. Flush. Shut flap. Check for any mess and wipe away.
If you open flap first before you sit, it might be yucky if a couple of days old. some may argue laying the 4 little sheets of paper will fill the cassette up quickly, but I don't think that amount makes much difference and it keeps it clean.
cheers Dianne

Don't worry, I asked the same question a little while ago (about the toilet and found out we were doing it wrong, hence always leaking in the compartment).
Caravan wiring. Not sure what you are wanting a wiring diagram for.
I wish you luck. My experience is that no caravan is wired the same way. What I mean is yes power points, switches etc are in the same place BUT the wires that feed those may not be.

The reason I wanted a wiring diagram was because my battery kept going flat and I couldn't find the charger........ Well that was easy there is no charger. Back down to the dealership and get the to find the charger that they told me would keep the lights on and recharge the battery while we were on site.

Guess what, they couldn't find it either.
So they installed a new one for me.
