I had a hitch holder supplied by Hayman Reese when I had the H/D towbar installed.
Don't use it.

Aaahhh littledick, but was it as handy, as the handy handle, on the hitch which fitted into Olley46's handy hitch holder ???

No, your right. I will endeavour to make a handle so I can lift the heavy B into and off my rear hole, of the car.
The funny thing is with the H/R version. They supply a key bolt to lock the hitch into the holder but it only bolts onto the A frame.
It did come in handy at one stage bolted onto the van bumper for my bike rack.

What purpose? I can't make a handle as I'm using the top holes of the hitch.

Bolt the handy handle to your existing bolts, the only thing is you won't be able to fold it down, mine folds down to allow the camera to give me a clear view of the tow ball.

Lance, I used a ball protector with a thin aluminium strip 100mm long fixed to it. Used only when hooking up. Easy to line up with the van.

Seems to me that this post had a bit too much "handling" in it. Quite unusual in a post Dougwe replies to.

I have a bit of a laugh, this post was showing the hitch holder as a handy idea, there has been more comments on the handle on the hitch than the hitch holder ,I love this Gray Nomads sight.

Handy way to store your hitch,so you don't kick your shins at the back of the car going to the fridge.
