After having my late husbands home grown mandarins confiscated at Renmark, it only got better, some scenery at Renmark. I was sent an Angel in the name of Jeff, he owns The Spalding Pub, let me free camp in his back yard, this is what he does for the weary traveller, I was able to charge my tablet, so i decided to have tea, a Huge chicken Snitzel, Hawaiian, sat next to the beautiful open fire, and was amazed at all the photos of relics this town boasts. Jeff also has the largest collection of barbed wire in Australia. So any GNs passing thru Spalding SA, call in Ja Enjoy the picks
Looks like you have had a great second day. Keep on enjoying the playground.

Looks like you are going to enjoy your travels Frangipani..
Can I offer a tiny bit of advice...
when posting photos if you dont tick INSERT when adding them they will come up as thumbs and we can look at them at out leisure instead of having to wait while they load..
Some of us have very slow internet on the road at times..

Welcome to our backyard Frangipani.
Enjoy your wanderings. We went through Spalding on our way to Yongala, now thats a cold desolate hole, but magnificent country Australia.
Safe travels
