Try Mr Google Rocket. There is a whole lot of info on making your own soap. Sorry I do not know any where you could go to learn. Landy

Check local community centres they often have all those sorts of classes and also candle supply places will often run classes for various things..

i think they use bones in some parts of the world plus other stuff, things may have change over the years

I don't know how to make soap on the Northside of Brisbane ... or anywhere else for that matter
However, Mr Google (how did we ever live with him ) provides this site (amongst others). It ain't Brisvegas northside .. but it could be a beginning praps.
We've been making it for years but pure vegetarian soap ....no animal products.... Basically you need caustic soda, vegetable oil and a mould plus be careful. The end product is excellent for those with skin problems.

On this show they taught Guy to make soap from a traditional recipe.
They even filmed him in the shower using it which was funny as.
It looked quite easy and the result was amazing even better than popular brands.
