Is anyone else getting heaps of pop ups appearing on their screen while trying to log on to Grey Nomads?
I've run a scan and it tells me there are no issues !!
I've got news for that, counted six different advertising pop ups in the last 10 minutes, they cover 2/3rds of the screen and prevent me from
logging on to start with, then everytime I change pages they start again. !!
Yes, I do have my pop up blocker turned on,
K.J.

You have malware on your computer and it will probably be very difficult to remove, first step would be to restore your computer to a date earlier than when you first started getting pop ups.
Also have a look at your programs and delete any program that states it is by "opencandy"
If this problem first started to happen after you downloaded some free ware or did an update other than Microsoft auto updates, this is probably how the malware got into your machine.

you have installed something on your computer that has the @#$% in it..
-- There would of been a secondary file installed that is the problem..
- Have a look at what you have installed and go online to find the right removal tool...
Plus delete the initial program...

I'm not having any problems either, but I do run Adblock, an add-on to my browser (Chrome) which stops most adds and pop-ups in their tracks.

I had this problem about a year ago and after I installed Adblock I've not had any further problems

Well I've tried everything. deleted all programs that I have down-loaded this month, added Malewarebytes and run that about three times,
this program did isolate about 8 programs which I put into quarantine, restarted the Computer and all the pop ups are back again .
Now the funny thing is that I only get these pop ups while using CHROME, If I log on using internet explorer and Google there is no sign of any pop ups.
I wonder if I was to remove CHROME and reinstall it, would that fix my trouble ? or would the gremlins reappear ?
Any and ALL help greatly appreciated,
One Frustrated K.J.

You don't state that you have restored your computer to an earlier date, doing this gets rid of any programs you have recently downloaded and usually gets rid of malware you have may have recently acquired.
Also try this in Chrome, click on the icon in top right corner, click on tool, then extensions and disable any extensions that look suspicious.

Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings.
Click Show Advanced Settings.
In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
Select the "Pop-ups" section and adjust your preferences according to taste.
