Hi everyone, we have a 2013 nissan patrol 3L and want to boost it up with a chip. We are wondering if anyone has either system and what the pros and cons are as well as where in queensland you can get them installed? Looking forward to any information. Cheers penny.

We have the DP in our Isuzu truck (huge improvement) & provided you specify your vehicle model, etc when ordering they're a piece of cake to fit yourself. The instructions are really good.

Thanks for that info, it's hard to choose when they are both so good. Cheers, penny

Spit2, I use to think Dp, Steinbauer and others were pretty much all the same.
If you have the time, the inclination and are willing to do a bit of reading, there are two very good threads about performance chips on the Lancruiser Owners Online forum.
The best way is to to a search. The first one is written by DieselTuner and is 'Diesel chips / Diesel engine tuning: How it's done'
The second one is written by Premier and is 'Willall Racing turns its attention to Diesel Tuning'. These two threads are extremely informative and will definetly open your eyes when it comes to performance chips.
I have a ChipIt chip. At the time these threads had not been written. I now know a lot more as to which chip will be installed on the next tug. www.lcool.org/.

I concur with Larry. I too have a ChipIt chip and now have a much clearer understanding of the differences and how I would do it next time.
