AK, I can highly recommend the satking box if you are not looking for a unit with internal HDD.
to have option of foxstar as well you will need to switch the feed or have a dual output LNB and run a cable to each box( that is how I do both)
Have a look at this I am just about to buy one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251526661289?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

X2 for the Satking. It is PVR ready, so you can plug in a hard drive of memory stick if you want to record anything. You can also watch one program while recording another apparently.

Wassa why would you buy that one for over $400 when you can get the Humax twin tuner for a touch over $300?? The Humax is a much better quality item than the Altech unit.

We are only talking about $50-60 and you get program linking which humax does not have

Where is your link to what you are referring to? What size disk does it have in it? The one in question is a full PVR with a 500 GB disk.

If possible get one with DLNA support.
Then you can stream movies from your PC to it.
You'll need to run a DLNA server on the PC, something like Plex.
Dead easy to set up by the non technical user.
Best of all this is all free....
Cheers.

Hi Aus-Kiwi, If you are in Perth or Brisbane go to Access Antennas (OsbPrk if in Perth) they will sort you out with all the stuff you need, and your options and show you how to use it. They are reasonable on price as well when I checked this out. I have nothing to do with then other than I found them having all the kit and the time to show you how to use it. Cheers Nigel
