I had a truck tailgating me over the speed limit (100 kms for trucks) about a month or so back scared the bejesus out of me, I had nowhere to pull off in the section it happened in.
I wonder how this one happened?

Caravanner on side road. Didn't realize was coming up to highway. Stopped but with nose out into highway. Vehicle front hit by truck doing around speed limit on highway. Info posted on another forum by someone who knew the vehicle couple.

Thanks Wendy, I saw it in the newspaper today. Apparently he had minor injuries and she (his wife) had none. He was 65 and had to be cut from the wreckage, taken to hospital.
Other than shock the truck driver suffered no injuries.
