We are planning on taking in the Leyburn Sprints this August.

South of Toowoomba.
We will be getting there during the week before and staying on for the fun.
We're not into motorsport but love older cars, it should be well worth the time.
Bring what you need. The general store was a bit thin on the stock the last time we were there.
Plenty of catering if you want to spend the $s.

Is the free camp still free during the festivities?

Apparently from the Friday and over the weekend they are charging $30.
Free before and after but cost for the event.
I have been told that there will be demountable showers and toilets for the camp
and the camping fee is to cover the costs. ( No idea how the water usage will work.)
To spectate there is a $25 ticket.
The good lady and I look at as $80 including unique entertainment for the week or so we plan to be there.
Funds go to a regional community where we have camped for free before and are bound to again in the future.

Sounds good to me. Don't think I'll get there this year, but maybe next year. Thanks for the info.
