Left Ingham in good time and met up at Cardwell some 50kms up the road. Cardwell is a beautiful place with sandy beaches for miles BUT I noticed this sign which put me off swimming. Very subtle not like the ACHTUNG signs that abound in the tropics. Met up with Dennise my friend from Tassie and latterly Gympie we had lots to talk about, she is travelling south but we will meet up for longer at Greens Lake.
Paul and I had another go at making pikelets he used his electric fry pan and the generator and I used the round gas ring and my trusty fry pan the end results were better than the previous time after a few mishaps. We had 2 bottles of mix on the table and all we had to do was add water but Paul grabbed the wrong one without the water and poured the powder into the fry pan. We will forgo the photos this time they didn't look like the professional ones that Rod did at Baralaba, didn't actually see him making them but didn't see him buying them either.
The photos that I put up often do not appear just by the camp and to find the places there usually is some exploring involved. John

So off another 20kms up to Bilyana have been here before and knew the best way to access the back camping area http://yeoeleven.blogspot.com.au/2013/08/bilyana-rest-area-between-cardiff-and.html

Sure did and she wants to meet up with you again at Greens, KevKim too if they get there this year.
I have swapped hair styles with Otis he looks shorn and I look hairy compared with the photo that Billeee kindly put up.
John
So that's why you washed your hair . Have a good day john.
Can't keep anything quiet on this forum but you are right Pattie.
Just realized that I have created this post with the wrong name, Cardiff should read Cardwell but can't seem to edit the title.
John
I think the edit time expires after awhile John, not sure how long though (24 hours?) the title can be edited normally within the edit time.
Keep up the good posts and pic's....
Thanks Vic and Sheba I have PMd Cindy, she will be able to fix it.
