The main street and surrounds has all the handy stuff.
Lots of cafes and friendly people.
There are 2 overnight free spots. One at the tourist info site & the other on the east side of the main roundabout.
I would think both could be a bit rowdy as they are on a through road.
We are staying at the showgrounds. Large open area. All the necessaries. Quiet.
Watch the pony club on Saturdays. Footy practice on some week nights.
A group of shire horses are brought in every so often. All good to view.
Washing machine at $1.60 is handy.
Caretakers are pleasant. A popular spot.
Great base for checking out the area.
Not a freebie but worth the stop.
Also, on Lake Moogerah is a caravan park.
Looks very pretty & pleasant but no pets allowed. ( So we didn't venture in.)

We always stay at Boonah Showgrounds - a great spot to base yourself. The free camp at the Visitors centre is only overnight - in after four pm, gone by nine am.
The other one is an "unofficial" spot - but I know a lot do stop over there.
Boonah promotes itself as an RV friendly town.
