Nice shots from the Lumix, are they taken in RAW or JPG or both?
Is that a sun reflection spot in the first shot?
I have just purchased a Nikon D800 no lens, I then got a Nikon 28-300 zoom also have a 50mm prime lens and a 80-400 that I sometimes use with a 2x converter, very heavy gear to lug around.

Nice spot. We camped at Rapid Bay in winter 2012, but it was beautiful. Love the whole area.
