Amazing the difference when the officials police the 10 m & the tackle area. A good open flowing game (that suited the Qld backs).
Hopefully Shane Hayne will never officiate another State of Origin Game.
As much as I dislike him I think that Paul Gallen was justly given the Man of the Series award. He really pushes the (rules) boundaries, and has inserted some mongrel into the NSW pack. I'm sure that he must be a Queenslander in disguise.

Oh Dear, I thought we aren't allowed to talk religion or politics here, State of Origin is way more serious.

Gallen is a goose who plays just inside the rules, and gets away with illegal play.NSW win 2 games by less the 5 points, and they think they are gods. Then get flogged. Not very convicing. Bill

GO THE BLUUUUUUUESSSSSS !!!!!!!!! Love Sarg.

The Blues had no choice other than to let the Maroons win. They have always been the superior team..... (Let's see what that statement stirs up !!! )

I must concur re comments. You know.... N.S.W. did not score a point in the second half of game 1 and we held them scoreless until the 70th minute of game 2 and then we gave them an exhibition of how to play NRL in game 3.
Also agree that with the 10 metres rule being enforced that it opened up the game especially for Queensland, as NSW broke the rules in game 1 & 2,
Bring on 2015.

Yeh ... I saw the happy face on conk as he went to the sideline in the dying stages. Poor Lawrie was very happy to 'let the Maroons win' not.
I disagree about Gallen 'playing just within the rules'. He consistently plays outside the rules, leading with his head (head butt) plus facial massages in almost every tackle he makes & stiff arms whenever the opportunity presents itself. He's a grub - sorry ****roach! At least he has stopped holding his arms up after each time he has been tackled, complaining to the reff about something.
But he is a committed competitor with passion, unlike most of his chicken hearted team mates.

Another thing I would like to see the NRL enforce is that only the Captain from each side has the right to challenge the field referees on all or any of his/ their rulings. There is only 2 people on the field who have the right to control the game, and therefore only two players who have the right to challenge any decision. The teams Captains. End of story. Just my view. Jay&Dee

There is a big chance Gallen will end up a politician, because he winges at every decision, whether its good for him or not.Perhaps he can lead with his head..........?
ps Thiadays try in the second game was legal because the ball never touched the ground and he regained control.Great refereeing!

Surely you guys are not seriously calling that utterly boring, watch the grass grow, round ball game, that is run by self seeking arguably corrupt officials, a world game are you?
The most spectacular thing about such an utterly un-entertaining game are the rediculous swan dives that the players take to draw unwarranted penalties. NSW's Greg Bird would be in good company in soccer.
Maybe we should burn all the busses (as they do in soccer) as they drive down Caxton Street.
