We've had a wonderful week's camp at this lovely spot. Even during the school holidays, it was not too busy. There's a crystal clear creek and a flush toilet plus lots of shade. It's in the middle of a cane farm where the owner has kindly cleared the area alongside the creek. His dog Rex [aka The Caretaker] spends his days there, no doubt due to the campers feeding him Coming from Mackay, turn onto the Peak Downs highway and continue to Mirani, then take the Mt Ossa turnoff. Follow this road right to Boulder Creek.

Thanks.
Good description of how to find it.
Another spot for the notebook.
Cheers

Went for a drive today to the strawberry farm, and checked out the camp as we stayed there about 2 months ago prior to house sit, was going to go back in a week when finished housesitting, but heaps of back packers there today, looks like they have set themselves up. But the rain might make them move on.
