This was a new one today. An email billing me for 2 movie purchases $290 from a UK email address. I sent it to Apple support and they replied very promptly asking me to forward the email to their Phishing dept.

There are just so many scams about everywhere. You have to be so careful. Not only just with money scams, but e-mails as well. You have to be really careful what links you click on. If you receive an e-mail from an unfamiliar source, delete it.

Its surprising how many simply cant resist clicking live links in emails, perhaps afraid of missing out on something, in many cases they get a whole lot more than they expected.

Thank goodness I still have some wits about me But I do feel sorry for the older users, who don't really understand the spamming / scam issues. I knew it was not right as the ITunes account I have is in my daughters name and my email, so straight away I knew it was S***.
Keeps your wits about you where emails are concerned, not always easy to spot.

Another scam email This one is from Apple inc saying there is a payment on hold for a downloaded game and wanting me to click the link to verify and ok the payment.......I am a bit smarter than that and heave forwarded to Apple... We are becoming good friends!!!!!!!!!
