No, obviously not. I do know I've asked for e-mail addresses to send Pics to people, or used addresses from their Profiles if they have them there.
I don't like Photobucket. Haven't used it for years.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Ok I originally posted the question to Vic41 & happywander and with no real answer sent cindy and email which said no you cant. But in my playing around I found out how. Simply open the reply window. In another window open where your picture files are Dont open it - right click and copy then go back to the Reply window and Control+ V and paste it in... Lets see if this flag show up
KeenTraveller
PS worked on my screen until I pressed SUBMIT and no flag...ugggh

Thanks for the replies all, I think someone told me you could at one time but I can't recall how they said to do it.
I understand from KT that Cindy is looking into it with her web providers, so see what transpires.

Me too Doug, there is always a way. Be good if Cindy can have pm's modified to allow this though.

it can be done, I have been playing around with it BUT the only way I could do it is right click a picture that is already online, has to be on a web site of some kind, right click a pic and select Copy image then go to your PM and select Paste and it shows up in the PM.
But the pic you want to use MUST be on a web site somewhere, try going to photo sharing on GN and grab any pic and test it out, having said that I still perfer to use PhotoBucket then I can install my pics anywhere, including within a PM on GN, Vic I just sent you a PM with pics on I grabbed from my mate Dougwe and one from my PB pics

Thanks Wombat, pic's received ok on pm.
Agree with your comment before that in general that email for private photo's may be best to send them to avoid site download as AK says.
At least we know it can be done for the odd pic etc.

None of this maybe stuff, that was an order, oh when you do put pics online with any site make sure you keep copies on cd or dvd because you never know when those sites will close although PB has be around a long time, and yesterday I got an email saying they are now on your mobile phone, itunes or andriod, just download the free app and you have your pics on your phone.

Thanks Wombat, have the old fashioned phone so phones out.
Does anyone know if you can put pictures on private messages please, and if so could you explain how,
Thanks
Vic
I think I have before Vic. If I remember rightly, all I did was Select the Pic., copy it, then right click on the PM. I'll try and do one for you now.
Please let me know if it worked.
Cheers,
Sheba.
