Hello fellow forumites, we have finally landed in Darwin, and plan to be around for at least a month. Happy to catch up with anyone passing through...

Not sure yet, Dunmowins. But a month is enough time to change our mind at least 4 or 5 times!! Enjoy Darwin!

Gerty, if we get together, we get together - be it Darwin, or elsewhere. Now, on the subject of Elsewhere, we have been there, just forgotten where it is.

So far, so good, we should still be around. Have been telling the nephews (great nephews) we are here till the buildup! I think they are horrified!

Hi JC, yes, it is a bit warmer, but warmer than what? Today around 30 degrees, sunny, but a bit hazy from localised bush fires, mornings pretty cold according to the locals, but for us visitors, 18 is just fine. Keep in touch via this thread, we are here for another month or two.
Plenty to do here around Darwin without spending a cent.
