Hi im back o the road again after a long ablemce...and found there was,nst much in the way of free camping around these areas, can any body enlighten me??/o dnt,ind paying a reasonable amount for van parks even that take animals,any help would be great. thanks folks..cleo,

Cleo, check out the "Free/Budget Campsites" section of the forum, under Qld, down about 8 topics. PM the people and you will be surprised. Not free but not bad either.

Just be careful of the Hervey Bay "Black Cat"

Most of the Caravan Parks here in the bay are way over $40 a night
none free camp in Hervey Bay itself the Tiaro is the most nearby
an other nice place is Miva that were we go often just for a few days at the time its beside the old railway bridge
