HI here i am at moore park beach near bunndy lucky to have a spot on the water front as being a qld i forget about the migration at this time of year and people are here for up to 3 months at a time
But got to give you guys credit for smartness because it is the first time i have seen portable vegie gardens they have them in a bag of potting mix cut about 9 holes in the top and out pop the growing vegs they have them outside there vans so to get the sun and rain
So there are all these vans with potting mix gardens out side growing what ever hey need how neat is that lol
ps any one there from this forum at the moment?

Good idea but not so good when you cross quarantine borders as in most cases you will have to give them up if you travel with them.

Grow bags as they call them has been a popular way to grow veggies in the UK for many years. The bags are a bit narrower and longer than the normal potting mix bag and they have the right ingredient mix for growing veggies. I would use them if they had them here, they work very well. Wouldn't want to travel with then though But great for growing veggies or annual flowers. Cheers Moonraker.

Seen a mobile home with a drain pipe with holes in the top with veggies growing on the back of there unit, must be hydroponics

I have two troughs which I plant herbs in. Grow chives, basil, parsley and thyme mostly. The money I save on buying herbs, I don't mind dumping them before I cross any borders. Just start again when I find another nursery or hardware store.
