I haven't been on much lately, been crook with the flu, spent the day in hospital yesterday
but back home , this really knocks you around, I hate winter time...

Mrs and I have had chesty and bloody cough since April.. We don't usually suffer much from flu .. But this year has really hit us..

Sorry to hear it Milo, the annual flu injection seems to keep it at bay for me, bearing in mind that you can still get colds, but stops most strains of flu.

Have not had a cold or flu since I started taking "Olive Leaf Extract" 5 years ago.

flu injections seem to work for us wombats, the only part of me that get cold is my bum where I try to block my hole to stop the cold weather getting in.

Flu usually effects the nose, throat and chest, not the bum, if you do not keep on topic I will let my mate milo know

thats ok wombat, this is the I digress part of the board!
I hate this flu, the last couple days been in bed most of it..
lucky I got a laptop in there so i can watch telly and surf if i want
I had the flu needle last year and ended up with a bad reaction,
and ended up in hospital for a week , so cant win..
still , could be worse.
most thing I am mad about though is when I first started getting crook
I rang my local gp last wednesday morning, and they said I cant get in till this wednesday
morning, bloody terrible, so I just winged it,but buy friday I'd had enough and called the ambulance
and they took me to the hospital, and got straight in, I hate doing that ,
and eventually got some antibiotics , and got an appointment to see my dads old doc on monday
ditching the other lot complementary now, only thing is they dont bulk bill,why I'll never understand..
but any way.. that's where I am at the moment...
I cooked some scrambled eggs tonight , first real meal I've had all week,
I also tried this woollies home deliveries , which I've never done before ,and the way I am
and the way the weather is hear I didn't want to drive, so that was good...
