We did not bother with a safe.
We do make sure of a few things though.
Never leave phones, iPads or wallets laying around even if you are just there and always put them away at night before going to bed, we know of people having them stolen at night from open windows, buggers just cut the fly wire.
Also alway lock your door at night before going to bed, this has been the biggest issue we have come across. We have even put one of those Winslow alarms on the door which we set each night.
Our passports are kept separate from all other ID.
Just common sense I think.

To tell everyone where the
Goodies are hidden and I am
Sure the good peeps on this
Forum will queue up to tell you
Where secret spot or spots are
I would just weld a steel summit
In a obscure place .But me I dont have
Any valuables to cart about unfortunately

Hi Loulybelle. I use a small safe that is disguised as a power point. You just turn the screw in the middle of the plate and the face plate hinges down and you have a small container to put money, Passports, jewelery etc in. It cost me $40.00. Very simple for a handyman to install. I do have a spare one, so if you or anyone else wants it, send me a PM.
There is also some good advise from others. never leave valuable items on seats or areas where they can easily be seen from the outside. This encourages thieves to simply smash a window and take what they want.

Just remember this subject could come up on google search, so could also help others more inclined to steal things etc.
Also can be viewed by anyone who visits this site, with good intentions or not....
A pm to the thread poster might be a better option.

No worries Dave.....geez, you could be Billeeees twin, LOL !
Nah, both good looking blokes I'm sure, could almost be twins though ! LOL!
Could be worse, you could look like Wombat !

Oooops, sorry for the off topic Loulybelle, I don't use a safe but there is a good range of small safes at Bunnings.
