We are a couple of wannabe grey nomads, looking at maybe 4 years before retirement and taking off round this great country of ours.
We have a late model Pajero and intend to buy the caravan closer to retirement. Having said that visiting caravan yards and shows it is hard to resist signing up for our own van now.
So we have the tug, I have the grey hair (what's left of it) and really just need the van to begin the dream.
Cheers Steve.

Welcome Steve.
Similar stage in life, But we upgraded to a Triton Ute and bought a campervan (which became a poptop van after going to the caravan & camping show) and we are now exploring South Oz a bit at a time and loving it.
Plenty of good company and advice to be had in this forum.
Cheers

We just joined a couple of days ago, great site to get ideas and to learn.
Speaking of Pajero's, we had one up until a couple of months ago but traded it in as we started to have intermittent troubles, intermittent as in when we were towing our van, and the problem could not be solved to the point we were confident. Perhaps with a late model the problem may have been solved with Mitsubishi. Suggest you google other forums specifically to do with Pajero's.
Cheers Jen

Nearly, nearly slipped in under the radar Jen and Stephen so welcome from me, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I had a similar problem with a Prado and heading from south to north a few months back I broke down twice so decided enough is enough and bit the bullet and bought a new colorado twin cab ute. Looks like one of the best things I've done. Apart from designing and fitting a wombat scoop that is.

Gee Jen you must be one for punishment
We have a feral wombat that lurks behind bushes here in the forum and attacks without warning. I designed a wombat scoop to fit my bull bar and it has a certain angle to it so it scoops a wombat to the side but I won't say what side, no way, not me.
Wombat just got knighted the other day and now shows up as "Master (of mischief) " should really be "master pain" but hey who am I to argue with Cindy, the boss of here.
Now that I have mentioned his name I'm sure he will jump out at you soon.
Here is a pic of him so you will know what to look for.

Not hard to get confused at the best of times anyway. I have to make sure I get up before Uncle Al or he takes over for the day.
