Some people who camped beside us a few days back have had a WIZZBANG come in after dark, ran into the towbar of the tug & then into an open window of their caravan ,breaking it & then fled the sceen.
Some of these idiots need to be told where to get off with their parking on to of every one.

We had an idiot run over our awning ropes in a paddock you could park 20 semi's in and couldn't understand why we were a bit unhappy with where he parked..

It's not just rv's. Same thing in public car parks, especially supermarket ones.
Park away from everybody to prevent the obligatory shopping trolley being pushed into your car and lo and behold, come back with a car parked right next to you, with plenty of empty parking spots still available.

I was in Ellistone SA about a year back. Arrieved at cp at about 10am no one there. Asked owner if we could park down the back away from every one because we have 2 dogs which tend to be a bit yappy when strangers around. This cp is very large. We set up camp un hooked car and went for drive for 3-4 hours. On our return you guest it there was 10 vans all within spitting distance. of were we was parked. As they came in the owner of the cp told all that we had yappy dogs which was good of him. You guest it 2 people complained about dogs. Luckily the cp owner took no action because he had warned them. It must be the old saying saftey in numbers but some times it gets a bit close for comfort.

Thats funny Al, I was at Tamworth recently, at the showground, parked as far away as possible, near a fence.
Unhooked the van, went shopping etc. You guessed it, a tent appeared next to me, so close I could probably shake hands out the window. Not only could I hear every word they spoke, they also had flaming noisy dogs that carried on every time i took my guys for a walk.
I might add that my dogs are quiet and well trained.

Allara, maybe you could train those amazing looking dogs in your AV to bark on demand from you. That would sort out unwanted neighbours.

Same thing happened to us at Warrnambool. A young couple pitched a tent right beside our van and made noisy needy sounds - you know what I mean - for hours.
The little lady forget that she's old and pestered me all night. Flamin woman.

I believe most of us have a similar story. We have had a quite a few.
I'm afraid my pleasant disposition and neighborly friendliness has been quite stretched to the limit. I hope they like very loud music. Tom Waits is a good choice. A little album called Mule Variations. Some pretty interesting listening. But We like it .
Now I will be the one that makes the noise and Makes them feel uncomfortable. smiling all the time.
Pity about the Wizzbangs. Some of the euros seem to leave behind in the home country their hygiene standards and etiquette. surely they would not be like that at home.

In the 70's at Seal rocks NSW we would set up tents Thurs arvo at Easter and by Fri morning we had small tents and hootchies UNDER tent guy lines.
All very cosy, but in those days no power etc and most were genuine campers,,, all go pi55ed together.

Yes Ken, the poor buggers need something there to line up with. I do the same and even when I park waaaayyyy over the far side it still happens

The poor souls probably feel insecure unless safely enfolded in the bosom of us lovely people. Gotta love 'em, they're all like snow flakes, every one's different.
Folks from the big cities, Asia, Europe, need to be in a crowd, that's good, it means the great outdoors is still safe from interlopers!!!
