watching ACA tonight 5/6/2014 I couldn't believe that the Logan City Council does not have Parking Meters so said the Lord Major I wonder if this is true ? After seeing all the scum bag Councils ripping People off all over the country I couldn't' believe my Eyes and hearing I near dropped my Whisky I'll bag any Council But if this is true I'll email them and give them a thrill

The City of Albany WA population 36 thousand have no Parking meters and NO traffic lights, except for stop lights at the train line so it is possible . I and most of the folk here would object to meters and lights. But we do have heaps of roundabouts which seem to work ok. Dhutime

Lived in the area until we hit the road in mid 2011 - definitely no parking meters.

No parking meters here in Taree either (pop 20,000) but there are traffic lights in the CBD as well as parking restrictions. Plenty of roundabouts too, which do work very well. Peak hour here lasts about 5 minutes.

We are living in the free from everything society here at Norh Arm Cove,no buses,no post box,no shop,great excitement during school time,school buses twice a day.The real excitement comes with the tides,twice a day.I forgot to mention no public phone box either.Oh I forgot to mention we have a one road in and one road out traffic system.Plus we dont have a church.
