Good evening all. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these hubs, particularly what would be a reasonable interval for a full disassemble, bearing and cup clean and inspection, re-pack and reassemble?
I have currently racked up about 30K on my hubs with regular re-greases at 10K intervals. I have no detectable axial or radial play when jacked and the wheels (four) all spin freely and quietly.
I am old school and used to hand repacks so this enclosed grease bath replenishment design through a nipple is all new to me.
Cheers,
TC

Did some more googling and think I have answered my own question.
Found the American website that recommends doing them about every 12,000 miles.

I'm with you there, I would far sooner strip, thoroughly clean, inspect & regrease the bearings every 12,000km's as good insurance that I am safe and not likely to have bearing problems regardless to where. Having come out of line haul semi maintenance, it was always the rule, three times cleaned & regreased, then they were replaced. It was cheaper than a failed bearing stuffing up the hub.

I have those Dexter ezi lube hubs.
Done about 15000klm and followed the Dexter procedure once 18 months ago.
Planning to do another grease change this year.
Great system.
I don't intend to examine further until I can feel play.
