The Leopard is the only animal I am truly scared of in the African Bush. My father and I were out in the bush one day back in the 50's, we were following some Leopard pug marks when all of a sudden my father swore and told me to drop. I hit the ground as he fired over the top of me and caught the Leopard in mid air.
On many occasions I asked him how he knew and his only reply was "I don't know son I just had a feeling". Well all I can say is "thank God for his feeling" because without it I would not be here today to relate this tale.
