Yes.
Fitted ours about two years ago when we found that we could not get digital TV.
Works an absolute treat and takes about 10 minutes to fit, nine of those minutes was getting a ladder
From memory, I think that there are two versions. One for the USA and another for Aus and NZ, make sure you get the correct one.

I went to one of them a couple of years ago and was sooooo impressed I changed to satellite TV. Perfect picture anywhere anytime (providing there are no obstacles in line of site).
My wingman was about $70 at that time and I found no difference at all.
My sat dish and accessories cost about $100. All you need is a foxtel box or sat TV box-perfect.

That is becoming less important. Band 5 TV stations are being shifted down to bands 3 & 4 to clear the way for extra mobile services.

With our Winegard, it seems to be tuned to the lower channels. ABC 20 is much better than the 80 channels. My Amature Radio days, if I remember correctly, says that it needs filing a bit shorter.
Interested in the sat dish etc. but do not know much at all about foxtel box or sat TV box.

Paul, I have one of those on my Winnebago, I made the extension part myself. It made quite a difference but I still had problems with channel 7, so I made two vertical grids about 20cm square from sturdy wire mesh & attached them to the two wings of the Wingman. Now I have horizontal & vertical signal collection. I can now get most channels depending on the area.

Thanks Baggie. I like your thinking. A pic would be worth a thousand words to me.. I was thinking of filing the ends to raise the resonant frequency, but now with my disabilities might be a little difficult. That is why I do heaps of research before I expend energies that may not be fruitful.

Hi folks, now you've asked for a photo of my wingman antenna. Now for me to do that (for me) will be trial & error coz I'm not good on the computer. I'll give it a go though. Paul, what is your location? We are heading up Caloundra way in a few weeks so depending where you live I may be able to call in. (Just a thought.
I'll try for a piccie tonight, but do not hold your breath mate.

I had the same experience and it went back for a full refund. I then tried the new version, still no different to the basic Winegard so it went back too.
So Mr Baggie I would also like to see the photo too pretty please......

Paul, you must be kidding, I just got the piccies downloaded from camera to computer tonight (We've been away in our Winnebago for a week) & our son is staying with us for a few days while he's lecturing at Adelaide Uni. (He lives in Brisbane) He took over the mouse & in about two minutes it was all done. Watching was a waste of time coz I had no idea what he did coz he did it so fast I got lost after the second movement of the mouse. I hope this gives you an idea of how it's done. If I did it again, I would make a tubing guard like a bow over the top of each frame & screw it to the wings to guide the low branches over the grids coz they do get bent if they get caught in a low tree branch. All the best mate.
Remeber, Life is too short to be miserable! Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy.
Has anyone fitted this to their Winegard tv antenna?
