Yesterday was finally the day. As we are new to all this we took some experienced family caravaners with us to check out everything.
Just one or two small things to fix but we are very happy with our new holiday home on wheels. Our Supreme. Classic was custom built for us to allow for my health needs. Such great service from the dealership in Clontarf. The colours and finish are great. Our Mazda BT50 was well suited to the task of towing the van home.
Today I have kept myself entertained finding homes in the cupboards for our bits and pieces. Can't wait to go on our first mini trip away for four nights in a few weeks. I'm happy to be going with a group of caravaners we know so that help is at hand if we need it.
Thanks for indulging me as I carry on but this has been like Christmas....and a little bit scarey too being one of the biggest investment we've ever made.

Thanks everyone for sharing our excitement and wishing us well on our journeys. Heading off to Jondaryan in a few weeks.
I would like to try sleeping in the van before we go. Do you think I am just taking this excitement over the van a little too far?

How far is too far? I've slept in mine, and spend many hours in it fiddling around with stuff. You only live once!

GnJ. This might sound a bit silly but when you buy a new bed you give it a test run at the shop to see if it suits . As the people say go out and sleep in it and be sure that it is what you want.
You have made the purchase and I am sure you will enjoy.TRY TRY TRY
