Hi
Is there a way to down load all the suggestions say for Queensland without going through all the posts and noting them?
Is there a list of the suggested sites in say a PDF file or some other format?

Use the "search" button on top of the page - put in the town you want to look out (while on the appropriate state - i.e. QLD) - all the suggestions for that town or area will come up - if there are any - that is the way I do it anyway - hope this helps.

Perhaps contact Cindy (Webmaster)?
I've never tried, but have you tried to print from the forum?
Otherwise, its the good old notebook and pencil!

There is no easy way I fear. Before I went on the road I went through every post and constructed a spreadsheet with over 700 entries
it took a long time but has been handy. If you want a copy just PM your Email address.

Late last year I began putting together a list of recommended camp sites all over Australia - they're all in one text file separated into states. Only have about a dozen for Queensland at the moment. Will email the list if you PM your address.

Yup. My fault, I’m afraid with no easy fix. When I set up this section I didn’t make enough allowance for just how many posts there would be. I should have had more foresight and divided each state into regions so that people could post in the appropriate section. That is something I might have to look at doing shortly and then move existing posts across but this would be fairly time consuming as it will have to be done manually. Then again, I guess there are only going to be more posts making it even harder to find what you are looking for. I will put it on my ‘to do’ list as I can see it would make the whole section an awful lot more user-friendly. I can’t promise when … but I will definitely get there at some stage!
