What do you do when you are travelling and need to get your blood pressure checked for example? To get into doctors would be very hard I would imagine.

Nelly, we have never had a aproblem seeing a doctor whilst on the road - but if it just blood pressure check - a lot of chemists have a self check one - try them.

Hi Nelly,
I have seen in chemists a small unit you can buy for taking blood pressure - I shouldn't think it would take up a lot of room and would make it a lot easier for you to monitor your blood pressure.

Most chemists will take your blood pressure for you. I carry a little card, they will write the results on the card for you.
I'm surprised at the amount of towns who have a doctors surgery where they will take you straight in without an appointment. Hervey Bay and Longreach are just two.

My brother-in-law has his own blood pressure monitor to keep an eye on his, and my sisters blood pressure. So far, they haven't needed to see a doctor on their travels. But they're not fulltime nomads.
