G'day, Col and I are heading to the Cape in July this year towing our Kedron pop top. We want to leave it parked somewhere up near Port Douglas and do the rest of the trip camping out of the ute. I've heard of Mt Carbine and would love to stay there, only its not on the proposed itinerary. Does anyone know of other parks where we can store the van?
Thanks
Cris

Gday...
I haven't stayed at this place, but I have hear good reports. They also 'store' your van while you go up to the tip.
It's about 180km NW of Port Douglas but it is on the way to the Cape.
