Hi I was just down in Beaufort Victoria when I happen to see these in a yard there and being inquisitive I had to go back and have a look and sure enough they are being made there so I went and had a look at a well laid out workshop where they are being made and was very impressed with what I found but can only dream of owning one, I could not believe the way it was laid out including toilet and shower with a full size fridge with freezer and what looks like a double bed up the front so I just had to take some photos to share and its called the Colt by 5th Avenue
What a super looking slide on . Good of you to post the pics mate. Gives others some ideas.

The slide on is a ripper,We had a homemade one for 8 weeks doing the Gibb River and Tanimi, started down the Ann-bedell
but did a spring and had to return, all I can say is wow slide ons have come a long way in creature comforts.

They don't come cheap, that's for sure.... unless you're lucky enough to find a good oldie like mine. As to springs, I took Bill12's advice and installed Ironman helper springs.

I had them on too but should have replaced the springs when they became saggy during the trip,
It was a Hilux and they tell me that they tie them down too hard on the boat which weakens them.

I called in again today to the shed in Beaufort Victoria that makes these slide on to get a smaller table installed in my classic Viscount and now it has so much more room ,the small table now fold right back into the seat but while I was there he showed me a slide on camper he is making with a kitchen that will expand out with the push of a button Ken is a master of his trade with many new ideas for the future .

What avery nice looking slide on. Has everything you want. Do you know the price of the one you posted photos of? Also what is the name of the place, I'm looking for someone who can do a slight alteration for me. Thanks Tess

Hi Evie n Rhys the slide on you see with everything I think was reduced for that one only at $24.OOO normal price I think he said was $28.000
But they are cheaper without toilet and shower and if you pull the photos up one of them has the sign with the phone number behind it.He is in Beaufort Victoria and will do small repairs as he did to my van with the installation of a table that fold back giving us a lot more room.
Regards
Don
