Have currently got the Hayman Reese "Compact" Brake Controller, but am unsure about its reliability as it has failed only 6 months in. Am I just unlucky or are there better options out there? Would appreciate any input - am towing Lotus Trooper 19'6 with Ford Ranger

We upgraded to a Tekonsha P3
best brake controller I have used so far. We tow a 22' 2700 kg caravan

I have a tekonsha P2 have had it in two Prado,s over 8 years faultless my choice Tekonsha ,number one in Break Controllers.

I would only ever use one of the following. Tekonsha P3 or P2. (Or the Hayman Reese Vinotour as it's the same unit as the P2) Slightly down market Tekonsha Primus (Or Hayman Reese Guardian IQ as it's the same unit as the Primus). Ozjohn.
